nice driving mmuller, your car looks really dialed in. you could even grab 6th gear on the back straight and brake a tad bit deeper with trail brake all the way up the hill

I think I can get Blackie (2010 GT3 PCA stock K class) on a new set of sticker Hoosiers under 2 minutes with cool weather. Qualifying last summer it was HOT when I did 2:01.077.
Also Blackie still has A/C and NAV and CD/stereo -- it is about 100 pounds overweight for its class.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was happy given it was my second visit only there and I only started DE last year (25 days last year, 55 this year)

The car works real well for sure. Coilovers are stock and have never been rebuilt, but the entire lower suspension is RSS Tarmac series, which made a massive difference. No need to shift to 6th, as it makes linear power all the way to 8800 limiter. Shifting just adds more step. I could brake later (I brake my SPB at the turtles at the top of the hill, but its going slower), but the tires had 30 hc on them by the time I was pushing that hard and I didn't want to ruin a weekend. Fresh tires there would make a big difference.

This is my first set of Hoosiers to and had been run at WGI for 2 days already. Been running Toyo R888's till now as I share the car with my wife. Building a new car for myself now......

Nice smooth driving mm. Oh, and I see how you got the 440 at the crank... reverse math from the wheels.

What are you building now?

Nah, that's beyond the capabilities of the car.

It's true, I read it on the interweb.

Shoot, Yonker got his 993 around in 2:04

Yeah, reverse math. Like I said before, 'roughly'.

I bought a 996 GT3 wreck. Going to build a 996 RSR replica with a 4.2l in it.

Some more stuff since then, like the front section of the Motorsport cage. Most just added weight and safety.

8800 rpm in a '6 GT3? You have cams? - info please. Are you re-geared as well? I think I remember reading one of your other threads where the car is under 2700 lbs right? Didn't remember the power was that high though that's like 25-30 more HP at the wheels than my car makes...and LOTS lighter. Must be one hell of a fun car to drive.

No cams. Just the Softronic tune, air filter, OEM Like exhaust.LWFW and 4.0 clutch help. Cup R&P really woke it up a lot. I was standing next to it when it went through each change and dyno run.

The car is definitely healthy.

The RSR Replica will be just for DE..... For now.......

You shouldn't have a problem with a stock .RS especially with a passenger. I was 3400 lbs in my car with basically the same power as you

That traffic was painful to watch. Nice lap. Get yourself a proper suit.
