It has PCCB, only 2500 miles or so, and they were asking $129k. I was driving by and saw it in the showroom so I stopped to take a look and a sold sticker was already slapped on it. After speaking to the manager found out it went for $125,900. Came from some collector in Texas and now on its way to the East coast.
I think the low miles on this one exclude it from being considered a true representative of the current market, but are people really thinking these will be collector cars? I just bought mine a few weeks ago and its my dream car, but wouldn't have paid anywhere that kind of price. I wouldn't consider trying to flip mine but a 25% net gain makes me wonder.....

Any .1RS and .2RS with ultra low miles and close to new as possible are commanding a premium.
Those that missed the opportunity the first time will pay to have a second chance.
There are people out there now starting to find out that Porsche now longer offer a 6 speed in the Turbo and the GT3.
To those with the money it is a no brainer.
For me, I would not sell my RS as it is a well rounded road & track car with a long shelf life. There is no other replacement for me. (other then a Cup car at this point...)
I think it has no choice but to be a collectable. But im not sparing any miles on mine that is for sure

it is a bit over mkt.
friend recently bough sub 5000 miles .1RS, cherry.
cpo
105000
CA price too!
but if it is what you want, 10-15k more, it's splitting hair as it's just 10% of a type of car that's no longer going to be made.

2011 GT3RS, Sell or keep?
Have thought of selling my 2011 GT3RS, 12,100 miles, approx. 10 track days. I am 2nd owner.
CPO, Traqmate data aquis. system, 50 miles on " Cup tires and pagid yellow brakes, giro discs front and Porsche rears"
White/red, front lift, full leather, Schroth belts, 80% clear wrapped. Rear toe links, Porsche cover and charger.Lithium battery, No wart.
Car is perfect, maintained fanatically, all records etc. not a scratch.
63 y/o physician with new health issue.
If I sell, ? appropriate selling price?
Or, I may just drive it every Sunday.

Definitely an outlier. You can get several 3.8's with 10-15k miles for not much more, if not less. I do think there is a bubble in the market right now that will go away once the new GT3's and RS's hit the ground. But, I don't see them getting "cheap". .1's will hover between 90 and 105 and .2's for 115 to 130 depending on the shape that there in. I love the cars and will continue to seek a .1 when they return to a normal price. But, let's face it. for track rats it is a different story. Although we love our stick shifts, things change a bit when a guy with 12 track days under his/her belt smokes you with a 991 3/RS. I think the performance differences will be substantial. Not a fan of the paddle at all, but I do love the balance of the 991 vs. 997. Fan or not, both will contribute a lot to the performance on the track.
