Love the single outlet, just like the grand am cups! Champion should think about offering this

I'm sure these are well made and look good. The noise they make is pointless unless they actually work. Changing the Exhaust system on these and any engine requires knowledge and understanding of engines and the other components that make up the puzzle. I'm no expert but knowledge of the reflective waves and pulses generated within the exhaust are critical in making sure those waves reach back into both ports at the right time. Way more to this than just changing the pipes and making something sound and look good.
The absence of some sort of balance pipe seems to indicate that engineering was compromised for looks and noise.
Hope someone with more no how than me can chime in with exact science.

The grand-am style may not be the most elegant but it definitely does great job in getting the exhaust gasses out quickly while still blending the two engine banks together. This is a version we made in the shop for our cup car. Very similar to the champion/M&M/Porsche motorsport. This style exhaust has put down some good numbers on our dyno. Seems to be good for 7-8 more at the wheels than a separated open exit. Blending them together is the big difference.

Here is what it sounds like from inside the car on track.

What size tubing did you guys utilize for GT3 muffler bypass pipes? Did you start with 2.25", then 60mm ? With no restriction and merged pipes smaller is typically better for torque and horsepower.

Racers will certainly hear you coming no doubt!

Have fun

Now allow me to apologize guys.
Saturday night I slipped into a deep hole (again) over the past and got totally plastered with two old friends (Tito and Patron ... deadly combo).
I do not even remember starting this thread.
Sunday was a blur and today a friend asked Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, did you fall in the hole again?
Square peg in a round hole ... I don't fit. Few can understand the anger and rage that burns inside
Enjoy gentlemen, I'll stay on the outside looking in.

A temporary solution to my center section traveling to Germany for repair. M&M titanium headers to 200 cell Ti cats, only SS for temporary pipes.

.....it is insanely loud. The center muffler will definitely go back on when it gets back from Germany.
