i should do more CFRA. i am on the "race team" but haven't driven with them for 2 years.
i dug these out
jeff R (also CRFA before he got married): stock 996gt3 on R6 (1:47:7)
mooty 996gt3, moton with R6 and stripped interior (1:47:2250 i am cheating, i am 350 lbs lighter
dave p 996gt3 stock i dont think he had moton when he ran this lap and he's on mpsc (1:49:9)
despite i had the fast time, i am by far the slowest of the tree. if i see them behind me, i get the fk out of their way. unfortunately the both retired to what is called marriage.
watched the video, come on, you can beat larry's old 911 ;-)
used to chase larry around. he's quick.
wonder if that's a 3.4 or....
it would be great if your cam showed more of the driver.

Larry's car weighs in at 2045lb with driver, five gallons of fuel, and a cooler full of ice water. He just put a "Built" 3.6L crate motor in it. Not to mention he is running 11 inch wide fronts with 14 inch wide rears on full racing slicks. That car and old man hauls ***!!!
I'm weighing in at 3596lb with 7 gallons of fuel, full interior, and all the creature features, including 15 Bose speaks and subwoofer
When I was testing a few weeks back at TH with you guys, Larry laid down a few 1:54's!!!! That's a tall order there my friends!!! I was only able to muster out a 1:58.88. I do not have much experience at TH and it was my first time there on R6's.
As for in car driver footage from SP...I had my GP settings jacked up and you can't really see much. Below is some in car from TH.
I should really figure all the camera/storage stuff out...its pretty low priority for me though...its cool...but a PITA and never seems to yield consistent results, sound, data collection, etc...I find it all very irritating...

Was this a Lotus CUP guy? Same day I was running but yet there isn't a 1:49 on the "Full Day Transponder Report". There are two :49's that were turned during the first race and two :49's that appear during their quali session on the Lotus CUP Transponder reports.

Nope. Blue boxster spyder. Track pads and hankook z214 tires with alignment. Otherwise stock. That is the only car he tracks
