Default 997.2 Starter Probs?

About every other time that I start the car, it makes a click like the solenoid is working but it won't turn over. Sometimes I have to cycle the ignition switch 5 or 6 times. Brand new battery (not a junk Porsche version), doesn't matter if its warm or cold. Tried pushing clutch extra hard, got the recall done for the clutch switch, still no change.
Anyone else had this issue?
Thanks!

Could be faulty ignition switch.

Thanks. Is the starter switch part of the starter or elsewhere?

exact same issue as you .. turns out it was ignition barrel/switch.

The main power lead to the starter has been known to go bad.
