Default MY 997.1 RS ON CONSIGNMENT - WHAT IS A FAIR ASKING PRICE - YOUR ADVICE PLEASE

Due my extensive travel, work, and living in multiple locations I decided to put my 07 RS for sale for those who love the classic 997.1 look and last of the manuals. Gave it on consignment to Porsche Roslyn given my extensive travel, since car was in my garage in Lakeville CT and I live on the west coast now and I have other cars. Porsche Roslyn have been always a good dealer to me, and I bought many cars including two RS's from them, a silver/orange and this black/orange. I plan to define what is my asking price and trust your advice.

The car is an 07, has now only 3,500 miles, just serviced by Porsche Roslyn with new oil, filter, brake fluids, new battery, never tracked. Never driven in the rain. It is in perfect shape, no over revs of any type. It is super clean, polished and clayed, smooth as as glass. Easily made into a concours car. Has GPS, Porsche Chrono, leather, alcantara steering wheel. OEM seats. All perfectly stock. Steel brakes.

Decided to get on the list to get a 991RS and spec it the way I want. I don't mind waiting. What do you guys think and recommend should be a fair asking price for the car on consignment/what commission.

I don't mind waiting 'til the right owner and the right price is paid. Otherwise I will keep the car

Enclosed are photos of the car taken recently.

Thanks for your input.

<500 miles per year! That's restraint. Beautiful car!

I will ask for at least $100K, if not more.

$100k feels right to me as an asking price, then let the market determine if you get asking or need to settle for high $90s..

PM sent this am. Any chance for a CPO since it is a consignment deal? Are those the original tires? RMS leak? Screens, tint, or 3m film?

Can i ask why you would give it to the dealer on consignment? they are going to take a huge chunk of value from you. I sold my 07 RS in a matter of days.
The option list would be nice to see, also any upgrades that you made to the car.

Really nice car. You should just ship it to the west coast and keep it.

Thanks to everybody for the pricing input. Appreciate your suggestions. Will follow each of your advices. Car is totally pristine, stock, nothing was added, modified, etc other than the clear 3M film on the rocker panels and sides of the rear fenders.

The only reason I gave it to the dealer is that I live on the West Coast, and the car was in storage in my garage in CT. Flying all the way from the West Coast to the East Coast and then driving from New York city to CT each time someone was interested in seeing the RS was not feasible/time consuming, just to show it to people for a possible purchase.

Will follow up on your leads.

What is your input on a fair, reasonable commission on the car?
