Thanks Nizer, but Larry sure makes a 964 sound great.

Still renting a relic and 996cup first weekend on track with 964 so I will have driven all contenders.

Doubt there is Porsche CPO financing for a 996CUP, so it will have to wait a little maybe, seems I wasted all my cash on some stupid boring real estate deal yesterday...

+1, my dream is to get one and park it locally to the Ring so I can arrive and drive ... LIVE THE DREAM!

I'll keep moving up my deposit until it happens.

Mines got a lot of that kind of stuff I think.
I hope to see it this week.
Maybe I should email you the specs you tell me...

I devoted a great deal of time and money on learning how to properly drive a race derived platform. I find myself in the position to continue learning, and most importantly, receiving a great deal of satisfaction in driving an analog car. For the first time in my life I know with a high degree of certainty that the new Porsches will not be part of the equation in my next purchase. I do know that I will keep my 997 until the death of me or my car or both. If I want to be a passenger in a car I can buy a GTR for half the price. It's clear to me that Porsche is only interested in selling as many GT3's as physically and economically possible, I thought that was what the Turbo was for.
