yes actually their goal is to have a spec Mono Series...which would be really exciting. they are interested in growing and increasing their production output.

the "wilson auto group" aka my stores are off LaGrange in Countryside- we just added KTM to our bike dealer (BMW Husqvarna) and we are adding a big storage/ construction facility in the back of the lot. The plan is to sell the Mono out of the Mazda or BMW showroom and have the BMW/KTM bike guys service it in Chicago as well as sell and service out of our race shop in Austin, TX. Conveniently our shop is 15 mins from COTA.

The Mono is an awesome vehicle but their chief issue right now is the wait from order to production. They are hiring more technicians to build them faster- the TopGear episode has been a big hit for them and the demand has gone up a lot. We will be getting cars in early Q1 of next year.

Great idea getting back into your old GT3RS. Perfect ride.

thanks man I really look forward to my old GT3RS. I love the aqua blue. considering a decal delete and getting a new exhaust (I love loud noises)

fiance is gonna start tracking a new MX5 club coupe (around 200hp) so the NSX (300hp) and GT3RS (450hp) would be good steps to the MP4 (616hp)

And so the question remains, you can actually fit in an NSX and drive it comfortably?

CJ,

Will you be bringing in a KTM X Bow to the dealership?

You need a dealership here in Los Angeles.

yeah I'm working on that it will probably be 2 years before I find a dealership I can buy here...

the X-bow (for some reason pronounced cross bow) is about 100 grand and I'm not sure if we can actually bring those here to the states. The one I really like is the off-road X-Bow concept:

haven't test driven one yet but I'm only 6'1 so I don't really think it's an issue

There is one delivered USA Mono in the wild, aside from that is the USA distributors demo car. So two total.

Currently I am anticipating a mid-first quarter 2014 delivery for the allocation I placed my deposit on in Aug 2012.

Could have swore I saw your bio somewhere and it said you were a stud like me and 6'5".

But then again who can throw a complete game in the majors? Not I!

@WSH :
Mono in the USA : At least Shinoo Mapleton has one (Sector 111, Temecula, California).
He brought it to Monterey during the Rolex Week.
Just call him.

BTW, congrats on the engagement! I had not heard yet.
Congrats Rob! Excellent taste. Maybe I'll see you at MSR this weekend.
