buying my old GT3RS back / BAC Mono comment
I had an aqua/gold 2010 RS and sold it to one of my friends in Jan 11, went to dinner with him the other night (he lives out of state) and said he doesn't even have 4k miles on it- when I sold it to him I did so with about 2k miles on the clock. Kind of a crime. He also has my old RS4 but has put about 40k miles on it since buying it off me in 2010.
Since then I've had a bunch of other cars and even have 8500 miles on my MP4-12C.
I think it will be sometime in early 2014 before we do the deal but hell I do miss that 6-speed transmission. And now that my fiancé is getting into track driving (starting her with an MX5 club coupe) I'd like to have something more "mid-level" power wise than the McLaren for the track.
I'm also looking into getting an older NSX for a project car, waiting until my BAC Mono gets here...
which BTW in case anyone is in the market for one or has one, we are going to start servicing them out of my race shop in Austin and my dealerships out of Chicago. I met with the BAC folks a few weeks back and after reviewing all the material on the car, am very excited to deal with them. They really seem to have their heads in the right place and will be increasing staff etc to put out more of the Mono's and speed up the waiting list time. Very excited!!

Aren't you too tall for the NSX? I sat in one Cerritos auto square years ago, senior in high school. With the seat all the reclined and back my head was still hitting the roof. And I don't think I had enough leg room to shift gears.

I love the paddle shift on my 575 but like you I also missed having a manual shift car around as an option for the street during the brief time I was without. Initially I just picked up a 996 Cab to feed the need but just made the move last month to this: http://www.exoticmotorsmidwest.com/2...ral-em-792958/
BTW, congrats on the engagement! I had not heard yet.
