Personally, I think light colors really flatter this car's shape best, but atlas has a pretty rich look to it.

Atlas grey was my first choice. Awesome color. But also very rare for 7.2.

I think Atlas was a "paint to sample" choice that cost a pretty penny.

Meteor grey was a regular OE choice, but you don't see many of those either.

Mine is Meteor Grey. If the same car had been Atlas, I would have been even happier. Darker and more mica flecks in it. Really beautiful.

AFAIK, for .1 it was a regular metallic paint choice (so ~$700 option) and for .2 it became one of those special color choice (~$3000 option) not a full on 5k PTS. I could be wrong though.

One of the rennlisters had a nice .2 for sale few months ago - https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...997-2-gt3.html

atlas gray is black with dark blue added to it. it has nothing to do with gray.
DRL if you think chrisF's is dark gray, then atlas would be just a shade lighter than basalt black, then add dark blue to it.

it's an elegant color. a soft black and hard blue if you will

F1, you will love it. when is it arriving. let me mod it for u ;-)

I figured I should update this thread. I finally got her a few weeks back. I paid more for her then others I was looking at but IMO well worth it. Like they say, you get what you pay for.

Thus far about 800 miles under my belt with a GT3 and i'm starting to appreciate it more and more with every mile. I want to thank mooty profoundly for all the help and questions through my process of finding her. This car will remain stock minus a few suspension bits. It really only needs a driver honestly.

Nice !! Congrats!

Get that GT3 up here to my (and Mootys) hood so I can take a look at it. My 991 Cab should be delivered here in a week or so.... :-) Let's go for a drive- been too long.
