Roll Bar Padding
Sorry for the noob question, but what recommendations do you racers have for roll bar padding.
I have a clubsport full cage going in my 7.2 RS and need suggestions on style and brand.
Dont know if i need FIA or SFI.
Let me know what you recommend.
TIA,
John

Ask for Marc Francis - he is one of us - a PCA racer.

Thanx GT3DE......
Did you ever find a front clubsport section?
I bought the new rear (but was scratched) section that was advertised here by Carnewal Gert and at same time bought the front section.
A week later I heard prices went up 80%!!!!!
I hope you find a cheap front clubsport section if you hadnt already.

nope, all I could get was just the rear before prices went up. so I bailed on that idea.
Moved my clubsport front/rear from Blackie to the Silver Bullet so I can race Silver Bullet this weekend in L class at NJMP.
Blackie is now at Piper getting a full custom welded cage right now and will be ready for my rookie driver, The World Famous Trakcar, for the club race at Road America.

GT3DE - DAMN.... Well at least piper will have full welded in cage.
Was toying with the idea of leaving my RS stripped, but since it has CLubsport bar and not a fully welded in cage, I think im just gonna put carpet back in since its a mostly street driven car.

GT3DE: I have a OEM clubsport front carpet on hand.... also have cup car floorboard if I decide not to use carpet.
But I think im putting front carpet back in.
If you or anyone you know needs an OEM 997 Front carpet, lemme know

Most likely you will have to cut it (at some point) I believe there are 2 or more sizes (length) so I would recommend taking measurements from the points you're planning on covering and go from there.
You can also find this type of pad on super stores like Summit and Jegs, in different sizes and colors.
