I see a junker in my future as well, for now a season or two of karting so I can get fast again while dealing with other priorities. You guys are bad influences.

E-class is cheap Porsche racing fun. The feild is loaded with E cars. I heard 40+ E cars at PCA club race at VIR and/or WGI this year. That is a fun field of competition. E car is cheap - used from $20k, $25k good, $30k great, over $30k is stupid money. Winners all driving cars under $30k value.

Depends on what u get and what needs to be done, and how fresh the engine - trans is

Buy one with work done and u can be racing in the 70s

E class is yawn boring to me

I see guys buying cars for $20K and spending another $30K on the low end.
Perfect, pretty front running cars $80K I've been told.
