I'm trying to rent an E class to learn the race craft at Road America next weekend. What could go wrong, cant be harder than the Rustang or racing go karts?

I am going to do limited PCA events, because of this....in the SE US...HSR and SVRA are safer and better venues for cups and racing in general

Its no fun racing your sprint race under double yellow because some underqualified moron ran out of talent and balled up his cup car.....the last PCA race I did I was out qualifying 997 cups, 997 RSR cups, 996 cups....that's not supposed to happen. Don't get me wrong there are some great cup car drivers in PCA and other groups...but PCA seems to attract the bad cup drivers and the shops that support them keep cashing checks

I do plan on doing a few more PCA events to see if I can take a few track records....right now I am 40 HP short and running a 275 rear tire....and less than a second off the record....with no aero

Bolt on HP, wider tires are being fitted next week (hope 315 rears fit) and a splitter and it is easily obtainable....then I retire from PCA and go chase 3i cars in HSR

Orbit and a few others are looking.
A few cars out there that qualify but technically they're not for sale.

We have motivational speakers waiting in their kitchen in the dark for when they come home to reason with them.

Damn guys - this is not cool.

I enjoyed the Tail of Dragon run with y'all back in '11, but I did not expect every one of you to be out of GT3s by now! WTF?

Count me in as a new S. Florida GT3 track rat. DE's are usually not my thing since I started competing but since my move to Florida I've been disappointed with the race schedule down here. No as many race events, variety of tracks, or same level of competition that I was use to in TX. So I picked up the 997.1 with the intent of doing more DE events to keep myself sharp while focusing on bigger, but fewer races. The idea is to be able to drive to the track, play, and go home without going through the hassle of loading up the race hauler each time.

I think there is a Performance Driving Group event at Homestead in late September that should be the first time I get a chance to take the car out. Hope to see some others there.
