roll cages, turbos, seats, E cars
Eventful day today at Intersport in McLean, VA.
So I have been trying to locate a clubsport front half bolt-in cage. No luck. Now I need to get something, anything to make the club race at Road America. Piper in Leesburg, VA will make it but it takes a week or so...
So the plan today was to take RS to Intersport and take clubsport cage out of GT3 to be put in RS. GT3 is waiting on new transmission... Then haul GT3 to Piper for custom welded full cage. (see pictures of cage coming out of GT3 and going into RS). Need cage in RS for L club race next week at NJMP...
Decided on the spot to remove carpet and other GT2 OEM seat from GT3 and replace seat with an old Cobra seat. So now I have both OEM GT2/3 seats with alacantra inserts in great shape and will never need them again. So the seats are for sale (see pictures). What are these going for these days?
Last month I traded my Cayenne in (at Intersport) for a GT Silver 2006 C4S cab. Wasn't digging the old NAV system or the silver. So I was looking in Intersport's showroom and they had this .2 Turbo in all black. But I hate the wing. Never even driven a Turbo before (except my dually). 5 minutes later negotiated the trade and got the turbo sans wing (see picture).
Had to run out but saw Sly's new old wrecked D class race car which we just bought which will be repaired which will have engine swapped to make an E car for her to club race at Summit Point in September...

Great seats for a .1!
If you can keep the conversation under 30 secs or to 1 sentence, Clarke will be flexible on price.
Transmission ob blackie dead too?
Less pics of seats and banged uppers he's, more pics of sly.
