Just to share: they work very well at the track contrary to claims and suspicions.

Coming off what must've been my 10th set of OEM (i.e. P40) pads for this car, I decided to test the Pagids over two full weekends (4 days) and found them every bit as good as they are on iron rotors. Since this crowd ain't strangers to the RS29 compound I'll limit my comments to ceramic-specific observations:

• Less initial bite vs. OEMs. Gives more pedal travel which allows a wider "envelope" of modulation during trailbraking. Brings some of that "iron" feel back.
• Better thermal robustness. Haven't encountered the "smoking pad" problem once in hundreds of hot laps in 95+ weather
• "Bite" starts dropping off at around 60% wear. Towards the last 30% the feel rather compromised. This I haven't encountered with the same compound on iron rotors.
• About 1.5x longevity vs OEM. Rears wear faster than the fronts (no surprise), hence the car noticeably gains a front brake bias over the life of the pads

I was no slouch with this set of pads. Ran them in back-to-back time attacks on slicks. 4 days, 400 laps and ~20+ heat cycles later I see about 50% front and 30% rears remaining. Gonna switch them out now but have been rather impressed.

Rotor wear? None that I can see. If anything they seem easier on rotors than the Porsche's own P40/50 which worsens those lil wear indicators with each track weekend. This time around I haven't seen any changes despite heavy use...

I know, having done quite a bit of drifting in the past, you have to be very smooth and deliberate. Can get very lurchy due to the massive grip available- low grip surface (rain etc) and or tyres help!

have you tried PFC pads w/ your PCCBs? comparison to the Pagids?
