The shifter design remains the same. The only changes made were to the lever by removing the optional counter weight. If your referring to that being the design change than yes. All levers included are without counter weights because it was no longer needed. Will pm pricing. Thanks for the inquiries.

I can vouch. I have one in my car. It's seen a decent amount of track work and the shifter is a great mod. Bolt action rifle precision.

Mine doesn't match this picture. It has the knurled raised seam on the tapered end. If you look at the selector in the first post, that matches mine. Which one is the latest?

montoya, the photo is of the latest 'design', the machined ring a third of the way down the tapered shaft on ours, this is what Dan refers to as the counter weight I believe.

I concur with deputydogs comments... love it for the massive positive improvement in feel and precision in the gear change action and functionality.

We have had happy customers with the Numeric shifter. Have one in our own 996 and love it.

Have not tried a CAE to compare though....

Cheers

Jamie,

I'm sure they do similar jobs, Numerics keeps the OEM look. CAE puts the gear **** nearer the steering wheel.

Very pleased with my choice. Its very nicely designed and machined.

Only other choice for me is a SQ but may just wait for a 991 GT3 or RS.

OK, mine has a bend to it also that is in the original post but not in the picture of the latest design. Is that just the photo angle or is the new one straight and the old design has the bend?

Mine is 'straight' on the tapered section, I think that's what you mean.
