Sorry, I knew the post was to me, but I thought it was in a different thread.

I'll use being an old fart as an excuse.

Not his GT2 lol. You're right about that, but torque, well let's not go there.

Like I say many times, and owning and driving a GT3RS for 2 years, it's just a different car. People who complain about lag on a GT2 is trying to drive it like a Diesel truck, because it has more torque at 2500 RPM than a GT3 will ever produce.

lol, nothing wrong, just have massive torque at 1000 RPM and doesn't need to rev.

It only lag because it takes time to get full power. That power rush you never get with a NA engine.
I'm still learning to drive with turbo's but I am finding my self a gear higher so I have purposely less torque coming out of the corner and then I can get on throttle easier and sooner to let the boost build up and it comes on perfectly when you want it to. Sometimes it doesn't work if your early and need to drag the throttle exiting the corner but with the right timing it can be perfect.

Today's technology makes these cars a lot easier to drive, even with a lot bigger turbos and massive power. I've recently seen a friend's build with 58mm turbos that outspool K24's and makes 800WHP on 25PSI... just plain stupid.

can you really compare 6Gt2s with 7Gt2s? I meant that as a genuine question.

^khooni,,I had both cars at the same time from '08-'11 years before I sold my 6GT2. The 7GT2 is a lot better planted, quieter, easier to drive, more linear, etc. than the 6GT2 (stock vs. stock). The 6GT2 is a lot less refined and the power comes on explosive compare to the 7GT2. (both cars are awesome).

I tracked both cars, but I am just an average driver...Eddie is going to teach me how to drive. Right Eddie?!

did someone mentioned diesel trucks? My F450 has the H&S aftertreatment delete setup with exhaust/air/intake/turbo changes and with the digital dash control I can set it to make around 650lb-ft/800hp for a daily usage/business vehicle... and my truck is mild. The downside is the black smoke which is kind of obnoxious...

You want low end torque? Get a ZR1.

Everything else will feel soft.

It needs all that torque to haul the track refreshments.
