Damn, SO tempting! However I've already owned a 996 Cab otherwise I'd have been ALL over your generous offer.

(I'd be lying if I said I hadn't already done a quick .2RS search)

Harper Porsche conducted the PPI today. (Mark Svc Mgr) Bad news, the car passed w/ zero over revs etc., but the radio head unit is dead and the owner wasn't willing to fix it or knock the price down for me to fix it myself. I'm back to searching for an '07 White / Black GT3. Arrrrgh. Plane tickets already purchased, back to ground zero.

if the car is otherwise what you are after you will waste WAY more time and money finding another.

Look on ebay for a headunit and or upgrade.

Don't need the radio anyway on a GT3 the exhaust is music.

Stereo delete shelf. I listened to my stereo once. Pulled it now I have an extra shelf for goodies.

Cdr24 come up for sale here every now and again but seriously if the car fully checked out this would not be a deal breaker for me.

+1

If the car checks out on everything else. I'd make this change even if it weren't broken.

Yeah, I can't imagine walking away for an otherwise excellent car because the stereo didn't work. Especially considering that when it does work it still sucks butt. Not to mention the car is priced competitively enough to 'cover' the cost of the replacement.

Maybe there's more to the walk-away than just the stereo.

I felt the same way about the seller. Thought maybe there was more to the fact the seller wouldn't fix the radio as if maybe he had a better offer. I find it utterly absurd not to offer to repair or negotiate some cost concession.
