GT2RS vs. GT3RS 4.0
Every Sunday, I take one of mine for a very spirited drive around the outskirts of the Motor City. Usually 200 miles or so. I alternate every week, but always the same MO: lots of Kid Rock, nothing too dangerous when others are around, but take full advantage of these cars when there is open space.
Well, every time I get back to m garage, I think "that is the best open road car ever built". Mind you, I am thinking of this only from the widest smile possible perspective. Today, however, having just put a 2RS through its paces, I've come to the conclusion that it is a dead-heat between these two for sheer thrills. Different thrills and challenges for the driver, but utterly impossible to choose one over the other.
I realize that I am very fortunate to own and drive these legends. I read with interest the ongoing debates throughout this forum regarding NA vs. turbo cars, GT2's vs. GT3's; as probably one of the few to own and drive them all, let me sum it up by saying that any of us reading here who own any iteration of these is simple a lucky guy.
I hope that you all enjoyed your own cars this weekend, on the street or at the track, as well.

Collector,
I have family near ann arbor where i keep my other 987 spyder. Where, pray tell, are the nice roads? I have difficulty finding anything decent compared to the english countryside I am used to and the numerous tracks in the UK. It would be nice to have a blast once in a while when I visit. Thanks.

I was on the track and the RS was as brilliant as ever! Best road going track car I have ever set foot in. Still trying to figure out why I want the 991 GT3
