Raced the antique at Mid Ohio this weekend
We ran the course including the bus stop, not sure what the name is. Rained most of the weekend so we had no car set up before the one dry race....90 minute endure. Finished 1st in group / class and 6th overall. Managed a clean lap of 1:37.5 on a pretty green track, not sure how that stacks up to the Mid Ohio natives, I think another day of set up and a low 1:36 was possible....I have only been here once before a couple of years ago. Ill try to post some video later, antique was the wheeling thru most of the corners
Here are some pictures of the cars that were there

Thx for the pics.. Some of the faster de gt3s do 1:37-39s but typically 1:40 1:42 on the full course. Mid 1:30s is plenty fast, cups 1:25 or less... Isn't the antique undefeated?
Nice job. Heading down nxt wknd for de and club race...

Sounds like you ran the club course if you ran the bus stop so you were moving. Full course is the pro course without the bus stop and that is faster. I ran a 1:37 in my car on the pro course so no doubt you would be much faster than that. Club course times slower...
Joe- have fun next weekend. Wish I could join and hope they don't schedule this race next year on the holiday!

it's one area that reall separates the men from the boys there. Way too many people looose ALOT of time there.
not sure how your car compares to street cars which is all I really know but that :37.5 on the club course is pretty darn good.

Mid Ohio is the best track in the upper midwest. 1.37.5 is around the fastest times of the TaG sprinter karts. Shifters are way faster there- 1.30-32 fast laps. Unlimiteds run 1.25-1.27 fast laps.
