Ugh, rub it in.

No trailer
No time
Even bought comfy daily driver. Gave dually to my brother as he has 2nd baby on the way.
Not enough beer, just peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

Had some arrive and drive hopes.
Not even time for that.

Friday should be trailer loading day, not come home late from work day.
June / July should be mancation month..

Cheap old wanna be AMG poser CL550..
Owned by an old person judging by the radio stations and the left bottom of the brake pedal being worn out by a left foot braker LOL.

There was a tempting new CL65 sitting there, but it was 5 x the CL550 price and I just wanted a cheaper runabout till the Corvette arrives or I go pickup the 4.0.

Actually went to pick it up the 4.0 out of annoyance of not having a car last week but they had the car sold at asking price, but financing fell through and they said lots of interest and they dont mind it parked there so I gave the a little more time. I dont have time to drive it, a tornado destroyed my trailer last Thursday so I'm fighting with the insurance company and the 4.0 is not the car to park at airports for days and weeks at the time...
It sells or I pick it up when I have time to track.

This is a quick picture of the old beater while stopped at Jersey Mikes while showing wifey the car. It needs some spacers.
3 years 85k mile warranty, gotto love CPO MB compaired to Aussie prices they are very cheap in the US. You'd puke a little in your mouth if you google prices ;-) Its just like the CL65, except the sunroof slider does not open when you kick down.

Peter,

To get you here, I will offer up half my 12 sessions to come join the party - I'm serious. If I survive 6 go-cart sessions not getting punted from the track trying to kill Andrew going flat up the esses it will amaze me.

Come join the party.

I'm a sucker for all 8-12cylinder MB's love the no B pillar. I'd gone for a C63 coupe but no ventilated massage seats. Only additions will be tint, iPhone remote start and wheel spacers and a bit lower.

Thanks, trailer sucks, it's insured but it will cost a lot to get a new one of that quality.

The 4.0 has not sold. I fully expect to pick it up in September to get ready for the cooler winter months.. Went to look at it today and took the SD card out to see if the mechanics treated it right after the recall.
They even rev matched crisply
