It's a great car, but the track history and current setup are a hard resale, IMHO.
It would be hard to impossible to find stock seats with yellow deviated stitching for him to put back to stock. You can buy a aftermarket rear deck and wing to "look" like stock but to find an actual Porsche 997.1 GT3 rear deck and wing would take awhile.
I'd sell the car as is with all the cool well done mods. It's absolutely perfect for a guy that wants to track and street drive and have the necessary mods for the track.

Mooty has one what?

I think the cup wing looks sick. And it's actually functional. Let's not forget that the point 1 non RS wing is not all that attractive as compared to the RS or even the point 2 non RS. Not to mention that the point 1 non RS wing offers almost zero downforce compared to the other two. Cup trumps them all

I suppose the yellow stitching is a potential issue, but I still think the closer it is to stock, the bigger the pool of buyers.

The seats in it now are black cloth with matching yellow emrbroiderered sparco logo. Pure accident, but it does look cool. The rest of the interior is full leather with yellow deviated stitching.

I think Randy and Mooty are the only 2 people I know who intentionally buy a 6 figure car with a dash that has more plastic than a ford focus.

The full leather interior with deviated stitching looks really sharp. The black cloth seats compliment nicely and wear much much better than the leather equivalent.

Cloth seats have to be cooler in the summer and at the track. Major plus!

I've had leather GT3 seats before. 9 out 10 physicians say they are direct cause for the medical term "monkey *****". ie sweaty, smelly, itchy nut sack.

Cloth seats keep the boys cool and comfortable so you can focus on driving and not scratching your *********.

Plus they wear better. The seats, not your *****. That has more to do with your off time than track time

Dog you know one of the top kart tracks is 10min from you. If u buy a kart I will and I have a couple other friends now into karting. I recently went over the maintain schedule and cost and its dirt cheap compared to DE or racing a car.

Dirt cheap until you add in the Chiropractor bills. :bang head:
