Just slightly different timing on the upshift to fourth in the back straight and I presume you don't run out of revs on the back straight in fourth and going into the final turn (sunset), where if I hit the line right through Phil Hill and the esses I would hit the limiter before both the hairpin and sunset.

Different gearing might be worth a few tenths but your driving is worth way more. Very well done!

Was there as well this week-end trying out my newly acquired 996 GT3. I stopped by to talk to the one driving the stripped red 996 GT3. I forgot your name but thanks for answering my questions. I'm trying to learn as much as possible to get up to speed (pun intended!).
This was my first week-end out with the car and first time with PCAGGR. I have to say that I felt that the event was very well run, kept on schedule and very smooth execution all around.
By the end of the week-end, I was getting pretty comfortable with the car. Nothing like some of you but still managed to get 2:10 with old R888.
Here is a few shots of my car and setup (quite modest compared to some of you guys ). Hoping some of you guys stop by to say hello next time you see me at the track. I'm from San Diego so normally hang out at Buttonwillow, Willow Spring and Chuckwalla.
I had an awesome week-end and absolutely love this car

Here's one more vid, this one from the TT (2:04.8). The track was quite hot by this time and I am on 2 HC R6. Way better grip this time but was actually slower than the previous video posted by a few tenths.

So many have told me having ho's is like going down a road of no return....Track with DRL often and would love to play with him on the track. So tempted, yet afraid of this addiction. Then, at BW last wkend, I witnessed locking pins binding on a GT3 with R compounds tires more than half of the time, including fronts. Right now on street tires, I only have to deal with right rear locking pin issue most often. Had to tighten it to about 475-500 ft-lb to prevent binding. So envious of the RS guys without such issues even on ho's.

Guys - chime in if you have an opinion on this. Who has pins that regularly bind? When you find them bound up, is it easy to loosen the nut with the breaker bar?
