PCA GGR Buttonwillow
super fun time this weekend with the PCA/GGR gang @ button willow. Got down to a new personal best of 2:08.37 - also had some good times following #24 around the track - he's just sooooo darn fast - hard to keep up with him. Eventually had to point by the super fast Green GT3 and I lost pace and never got it back.
Awesome weekend - thanks to all the PCA gang for hosting us!

video above is fun 2 laps of lead/follow (me following cause I just couldn't quite take the lead)! Damm that RS is fast!
I'll be posting the 2:08.37 and my 2:09 flat lap vid's soon - they were back to back!

Hey Dave, it's Peter, you gave me and Henry a ride in your Tesla. Next time you need to take your Tesla on track. It is certainly quicker in a straight-line than most of our cars. Lol
Your RS looks so great out there.
Great video, and I hope to see you at the track again soon.

Wow! Indeed, what a weekend. And a fantastic holiday weekend, to boot!
DRL drove up from San Diego. All he got to show for it was Top Time of Day in Sunday afternoon's time trial. And this result comes despite being sick as a dog and getting no sleep on Friday night/Saturday morning. F-me! That dude can wheel!!!
Montoya takes the prize for the longest tow. Not from the far reaches of the track (like a certain swim suit model who's avatar is quite popular on this forum), but from the freezing rains of Portland, Oregon. Wow! How's that for dedication?!?!?!!! And yes, he too can wheel!
We had a gathering of the tribe in the south eastern corner of the paddock. Entry was granted to only those lucky few with new GT cars and TPD trailers!
Here is a shot of the crew, from the top of Montoya's giant trailer...

L to R:
Orlando, Chasen, Alice (Garcias family and world's greatest hosts), Mooty, Montoya, DRL & some French pastry chef. I'm the dude with the camera. On the roof. One thing is for certain with this crew... the cars are fast and the food is world class!

thanks chris. to be fair - tho i did win the TT, one car had a faster time for the weekend. a guy driving a .1 GT3. very fast driver. third session on sunday we each did our best times. he did a blistering 203.1 on new R6, I did 2:04.2 on 9 HC R6. He did not do TT and I put on almost new R6 for TT and could only manage 2:04.8. i had hoped to nip down into 2:03 territory...but ambient temps had gone up and up and i was not able to pull it off

Great seeing you all at BW! What a fun (and super fast) group. Glad you all enjoyed the weekend.
Chasen - hope you get the starting issue fixed real soon.
Mooty - How did the SP Boxster feel?
DRL - That .1 GT3 driver was Andrew Seligson from up here in NorCal. He's super fast, addicted to Hoosiers since trying them out last year.
Next stop - Thunderhill in July.
