They're pretty much down the street from me. Do they perform regular car maintenance work?

Dude - buy them a pizza and introduce yourself to them - huge resource and I am sure many would consider them superior to a dealer

Call them, I'll bet they help... besides you may need a pressure plate, of which they might sell you an upgrade!

Send it to Alex. They build engines that actually work, so I'm pretty sure they will be able to take care of you.

Most important is to have good work from good honest people, which is so rare these days, don't waste your time and money in other 'RACE SHOPS'

Lucky u are close to Sharky guys... They are top notch.. I would have them maintain and do everything on my car if I were close to them. Probably cheaper than any dealer. Dealers are no good for the most part.

I'll give them a call. I figured a tuner/upgrade shop would be more expensive for regular maintenance work than a dealership.

I think dealers are usually more from my experience.. Unless you have special relationship with them. Socal dealers are generally terrible. Not sure about up there.

just called. As expected they don't do regular maintenance, but offered to take a look at the clutch problem.

Also why do all Porsche places not work on weekends? Dealerships, shops, etc..all 9-5 M-F. Other dealerships operate their service departments on weekends.

Hi there - I think we just chatted and sure we'd be glad to take a look at it for you.

I can't speak for everyone but the reason we don't work on weekends is we're actually a small shop and if we did, we'd never get time off to drive cars Luckily no divorces yet either

The complaint about the hours is more for the dealerships. I can understand small shops not doing weekends. I just like sometimes dropping off my car at the stealerships for basic maintenance and such and then getting a loaner for the weekend.

I'll try and drop by Friday. I have an appt with Carlsen for an oil change in the morning.
