PCM question for 2008 GT2
Guys,
My new to me GT2 just arrived and I am trying to set up my iphone. Am I correct that there is no "Bluetooth" type connection and that instead I have to remove my SIM card and insert into the PCM control unit every time I want to use my phone?
Surely there is some other system and my question merely reflects my ignorance. Somebody please enlighten me!! I live in CA so I need to come up with a hands-free solution before I get popped!!!
Best regards to all!

If you have option 666 you can insert your SIM Card, otherwise you can't connect to the PCM. You can add a third party Bluetooth unit. Tooki and NAV TV are two options.

I'm no techie, so I need to know would I have to remove SIM card from my phone each time, or do I buy an extra SIM card for my phone # and just insert into the head unit and leave it there?? Hoping for the latter!!!
Thank goodness I didn't buy the GT2 for it's awesome phone interface!!!

I have heard that you can get a mirrored SIM, but that would be a question for your carrier. I think you are better adding a third party unit, they work well, and it is out of sight.
