Default CCW C10 ordered =)

Ok. Just ordered CCW c10 - titanium 18x9 and 18x12. Spoke with John for awhile on the phone. Super nice, VERY patient, and answered all my dumb questions. wow!

We got to the topic of tire selection and i know we have beaten this topic to death. For those of us who has to drive to track and drive, we are somewhat limited with 18s.

Yes, with NT01 F245(275)/ R 315/30 and many of you guys have reported NO issues with nannies on or off. Just drive smooth. Nitto just announced 305/35/18 on their website but who knows when they will start selling.

Another interesting combo we were talking about were NT555R II (says radial drag race tire..) in the rear 305/35/18 and NT01 in the front. Any thoughts on that?

Not-so-popular R888 is always available in correct sizing
255/35/18
315/30/18 or 305/35/18

I could be the guinea pig and try mixing
Front 255/35/18 R888 or F245 or 275 NT01 and
Rear NT01 315/30/18 or NT555R 305/35/18

Anyways, I gotta decide in a week. John says he will start to make the wheels now.

Exciting!

Great news about the 305/35 if you're a narrow body guy. Hopefully they will be released soon.

Kormaster is a big time baller now. Finspeeds are great looking too.

Is the 5 lug conversion completed yet.

Looking forward to our next track day.

No baller. Broke now... 5 lug conversion will start in a week. Just collecting parts. Guard LSD, new wheels/tires pfc rotors/pads...

I looked into finspeed wheels. Good looking wheels. I just procrastinated and need the wheels finished and delivered in 2 wks. CCW has good reputation even after sale of the wheel and they stand behind their product. So I liked that aspect of it.

you have narrow body, so i dont have first hand exp.
NT01 size 245/315 will ONLY work with RS if TC/SC are both off. regardless of track of street.

CCW's are nice wheels too. Lightweight and fairly priced. I looked at those as well as the Forgeline wheels.

You had better get all those toys installed in time for POC.

Mooty - I think I'll be the guinea pig =) Some people reported that they have no issues on Nb.. Only one way to find out or I'm being stubborn...

CCW are strong wheels with huge customer support.
Everybody who tracks should have at least one set on the stash. .

As to tires, hold out for the nittos in 305 rears. They really are nice DOT tires.
In the meantime dont be afraid to burn through a set of toyo 888 as they make a 305 rear.

R6's are a bit dicey having to drive over 250 miles round trip to get to and from the track.

Go back and reread bluejay73's post on the Nittos. He tried the 555rII and they had was less grip than the NT01. FYI
