Allan,
thanks for the info.
Wonder if my car is affected ? Haven't heard anything from Hennessy
Of course, I'm also not their favorite customer like you

My car is at the dealership getting the clutch/pressure plate (4.0) replaced under warranty and they are taking care of this issue as well. Mine is 2010.

Allan. Just called Matt and my 11'RS was on his list (but I've not gotten the mail yet). Its going in next Tuesday.

Bill. You may want to check because it sounds like they only got in some many kits initially. (So you can get your name on one if needed)

FWIW, at dealer today, was getting my for sale car PPId and there was a beautiful '11 RS on the rack getting a PPI also. The service advisor said they were doing the intake recall on it, which they just received notice of.

My '11 3.8 is in for the tunnel replacement today as well as my friend's 4.0. I didn't find out until I stopped by for a DE inspection this morning and saw my friend's car. Asked about the recall and found mine was included.

My letter came yesterday... although the description of "noise" if this happens may not be all that accurate. Should be "If this part fails, you will hear a loud noise coming from the engine compartment followed by a silence, due to sudden-death-of-engine"

Dealer just checked after I called and confirmed that my 2010 RS is on the list. Amazing how they always seem to be the last to know.

My 2010 RS is also on the list.

I have never taken the car to a dealership before, I set up an appointment with Schneider Nelson (the car and I are on the East coast for a nice, humid summer.) Will they care that I have a cage & harnesses? If anyone on here has a service advisor or rep they prefer over there, let me know.
