MY2011=B
MY2010=A
MY2009=9
MY2008=8
... and so on...
Which confirms that the issue is with MY11 cars. And all MY11 cars have the same air distributor tube (997.110.116.91)
I need to call my dealer tomorrow and figure out what's going on... there's gotta be some logic to this madness.

Update: the official designation is "General Campaign WC-51". Affects MY11 cars (incl. mine which is a Jan 11 ). Issued by PAG, covers all cars regardless of warranty status.
I'll try to secure the service bulletin but it involves the .94 part number previously mentioned. If anyone has access to the TSB do please share.

Asked my dealer in Omaha about it as I'm taking my '10 next month for the rear hub recall, and also a recall on the clutch microswitch that lets you start the car when clutch is depressed. Said he hadn't heard about it, but guess it doesn't involve mine anyway from what is stated above...

My dealer finally replied. That was a satisfying toldyaso.
WC51-Replacing Center Intake-air Distributor. Parts are ordered, my car is conveniently parked in the showroom. Probably looking at another 20 test miles.

So this recall does not affect 2010 GT3s?
