Really cool! Your dad must have been beaming with pride. You are very lucky to have a dad that shares your passion.

Clarke, you're super awesome!!!

What a present, a 911 S, a current classic, so special, and one with a family story.

This thread is a sticky to me, what good sons can do and will do for parents.

Drinks on me next time we see each other.

My warmest and grateful thank you to Charlie and Art of Intersport. In the final push Charlie and Art did a 30 hour stretch without a single break. When Charlie says he will get it done he means it. Take that to the bank. As we have all come to expect from Charlie - everything mechanical was PERFECT - engine, brakes, trans, steering, alignment. With confidence I got in the car with my Dad and told him to "hit it" - and "hit it" he did. It drove awesome, smooth and very very fast.

And thanks to Jack from EuroPros who also pulled an overnighter and brought his whole team for the final leg. The paint body/paint is flawless and stunning.

Great group you have up there, Clarke. I honestly didn't think they would finish it.

wow, just wow.

He must be just mind blown.
And to end it off with the 3 cars in the yard. It made his day such a surprise from the ordinary and brought back fond memories Im sure.

I bet he is still shaking his head!

Clarke for president!

I stayed up Thursday at shop until 3am and then back to shop Friday and never left Friday night. Saturday afternoon was a 3 hour drive in the big rig - it was all I could do to stay awake on the way there. Once I got there the adrenaline kicked back in. Sly & I made dinner for the whole group. I started pounding Coronas and was feeling no pain. Photo of Sly, me, Most Interesting Man in the World, mom and Dad around 11pm. I crashed at midnight. What a ride.

What an amazing story and I'm sure one that your father will never forget. Well Done.
