Peter, good to meet you this morning (I was Aaron's student). yes, getting passed by some of the F1 cars was pretty neat. At one point i was coming down the front straight and I see the flagman waving the blue flag like a lunatic. I look in my mirrors and i'm like, what the hell is this guy's problem - there's no one there! It was there eventually LOL.

Chris, Aaron is fantastic and I KNOW he is a pleasure to work with. You whole crowd looked like they had a great time. It was amazing with Michel in the BMS Scuderia Italia Judd and the Williams FW19 wailing around, I'm sure! Thanks for the shout out!

Excellent event as always with David Murry and team.
Video of the Scuderia Italia F1 car enjoying the DE like everyone else (its two different sessions spliced together).
The sound is incredible when it passes you.

There wasn't that many cars but it seemed that everyone was out on the track all the time and there was a massive delta in lap times out there....and this has nothing to with the cars themselves (the train of Miatas was never an issue). However, there was a subaru stationwagon and others there that should have been taken off the track. The 90 degree weather made the track probably less than optimal in terms of setting lap times.
To be clear it was a great event. Everyone was super courteous on the track and it was run flawlessly. I did 325 track miles and I didn't even use the second half of the second day.
Time to book the lodge for the Sept D.Murry event....
