Default Steel and studs weekend

Had a busy weekend. Finally switched PCCB's to steel. Went with PFC front and turbo rear rotors. Also switched to caliper studs. And last but not least put in rear brake cooling ducts. These things were a pain in the a-- to put in. Got sick of whittling away on the plastic to make it fit. Also put in the puck retaining doo hickies in the front calipers. Now if it would only quit snowing and warm up here I can see if my car still stops.

Glad to hear your are getting set up. On the brake ducts did you drill holes and add wire ties. Highly recommended man.

No I did not do that. Where do you do the wire ties? Sounds like I have something else to do.

Congrats on the switch over and glad you were able to work on the car. I know what you mean, as I am dying to get the cars out of hibernation!

I live three hours north of you and the snowmobile trails are better now then they were in late January. Like you I am also ready for the thaw and clean roads.

Well done, you will enjoy all of it for as long as you own the car.
Keep the car in Florida next winter.

I should buy a snowmobile. If I did that though it wouldn't snow for years. Would solve one problem though I suppose.

Just started to snow here again too. Unfortunately doesn't seem to have stopped since early Jan.
