"Thank you Porsche for making this joy machine."

That sums it up!

My 997.1 GT3 and I are in along term relationship! I just did a carbon tail conversion. I need to do an RS clutch and sport headers and I'll be good for a while!

But for me the 997.2 GT3 was love at first sight. Still feel the heartbeat when i look at it. Every time i drive it, i say thats it. Thank you Porsche for making this joy machine .
Exactly, "Thank you Porsche for making this joy machine"....Each time when Im in my GT2 or GT3...have exactly that feeling. Its a miracle that such a car was still available in 2011-2012..nothing compared for the competitors matched the driving feeling. Such a simple and honest car.

Now with the new one - a GTr - ized GT3..its just the opposite..the relation went from Love to anger..its like a wife you divorce..

Keeping mine for several reasons, first car out of 40 wife told me never to sell ( she sees the big grin on my face everytime I drive it), love to drive a stick, and would like to grow old with at least one car from the start. I admire old guys that are the original owners that have owned the car for 25+ years and still have that sparkle in their eyes when they talk about their car. It is a keeper. If I ever drive a car thats more enjoyable, I will have to make more room in the garage.

+1 Love my 997.2 GT3 and will keep it. Love to shift my own gears. Love not having had to plunk down north of $137K when I bought it.
