Default For the .1GT3/RS and .2GT3's

Just off the 3D machine Champion Motorsport design a new idea for decklid air duct.
Taller and with a more aggressive leading edge (like the .2RS's) these should ram more air into the intake.

I'm not sure I agree with "looks good". The mounting screws look horrible, compressing and indenting the plastic. Maybe this should be glued on?

Not a fan of the fixing system...

Keen to see if they make a difference on a dyno... I would have assumed that Porsche would have them already optimised for the volume handling abilities of the airbox and intake system...

yes, this is a bigger scoop. this does not address the air movement all the way to the engine. I am guessing these will cause a lot of turbulence since these are larger than the holes in the decklid.

FWIW - hope you guys are joking about the dyno. Or do you know of a dyno with its own wind tunnel?

Smartass time: why not make it one big scoop that fills the entire area from decklid to spoiler? Wouldn't that add maximum air to the intakes?

Kind of my point too... I'd love to see figures because I don't expect to see any benefit nor difference... Dyno would be a waste...

I like it Juan!

It would be nice to see an inner skin that funnels the air accurately into the deck lid holes.

One big scope with the same internal funneling guiding that splits the air flow would be good as you could biased the air flow to the airbox and more power! leaving the cooling/fan aperture as is... GT3DE and me may have come up with Champion's/ Juan's mark 2!!

Juan,

Are Champion going to market these?

And the million dollar question will you/Champion dyno with a large CFM fan directed at these to see peak gains?

The screws don't look good and bet what the dyno giveth, the aero drag and turbulence under the rear wing, taketh away.

refined design by Autoquest with proven results as tested at Sebring (yes, I previously posted about this a few weeks ago - reposting for those that missed it since this is a related product):

Nah, the whole deal is off. A big negative.
