Help me understand the "additional maintenance" required on page 2 of the supplemental manual that just came out for GT3.2s. How do you guys read these requirements: does this mean 1) if I track my car in the summer and put 4200 miles on the car per year that I have to replace the rear hubs and bearings every year, and 2) have to replace the front hubs and bearings every other year? If so, are they kidding? By my calculation and including parts, labor and a new alignment each time that's $10k to $20k per year if you have a dealership do it. Especially for the years where they have to do all 4 corners. Someone please tell me I'm reading the new maintenance requirements wrong..

You have to change rear hubs every 4200 track miles... You have to change the front hubs every 8400 track miles, you have to change the CL bolts every 8400 miles and you have to change the wheel carriers every second hub change... Still think they are a great idea?

This is why some of us are freaking out with CLs other than the obvious reason of a wheel coming off and killing us! Write them a letter, if the get enough complaints, they may start to listen... Certainly wouldn't touch a 991 if it has the same requirements...
