I'd say, no, don't do it. I had a 10 GT3 and traded for a 12 GTS. Nice car, but I found myself wanting. Recently bought an 11 GT3 RS. I'm in heaven. In retrospect I'd have to say that I wish I had never sold my GT3. They are special, at least as far as Porsches go, and the last of the Mezger engined cars to boot. I've never driven a C4S, but by all accounts they are not as engaging as even a C2S. Take care of the gem you have. From a practical standpoint it will be more economical in the long run, from an enthusiasts's standpoint it there is no comparison.

Sold my 2011 GT3 RS for a track car and got 2012 991S as a dd....BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing comes close to a GT3. I agree with Trackcar. Ignore all that bs and drive your car. I'm telling you right now there will be a ton of lawsuits on that maintanence issue. C4S is a nice car but its like dating pornstar (GT3) who will rock your world in the sack or a just a hot chick that doesn't know what shes doing in the sack. Pornstar all day long. Stick with gt3.

Get a 991S-PDK, faster than a GT3, a real transmission, it doesn't leak oil and coolant, it doesn't break clutches or LSD, and it handles a lot better.
991S X51, even better
991-C4S X51, top!
All of these 991s are superior to the comfort-level 997.2 GT3 3.8.

Only performance options like the way you would order it. nuts!! 147k +++
And you still have to buy seats. Like with the 60k Corvette, I can't wait to see how it feels, holds up on the track. A big plus is that a manual is still available in both. Both are faster, but better??
