well i've spent the last couple days test driving this car. . . .what a beast! It's extremely fast and comfortable as well.

There is some turbo lag, and handling seemed just "ok" - - but the main problem is local dealers seem to think they have a Limited edition car on their hands, - as they don't care to negotiate on the price.

 

i just came trying the S8, S7, and S6 on a small track. the S8 is the best of them all. such a fantastic big sedan with great balance of power, agility, and comfort. highly recommend the car. well done audi!

 

Have any of you driven one on a truly rough road? How was rided quality over rough pavement?

 

Get something with the new inside-out FSI turbo V8 (4.0) .... it's a beauty.
