there's no origins,it's to weak about or collector clue
it's a beat up toy
with tht in mind CL five lug no matter.

I dimtdo converion for safety
I simply hated TH **** grease used n CL
it's gets on my hands care n the house blah blah
I hate using the brake depressed nd I don't have a long third leg to rests the pedal while taking wheel off. it's a hassle. car is a hobby. not hassle. when I start say Fk ths fk that every three second, I no longer ave fun. so I chg to lugs.

Do you mean maintaining CLs Serge 944? If so, oil changes, brakes and tyres are consumables we expect and are happy to pay for or we wouldn't participate in the hobby...

The point is that hubs, bolts and bearings every 4200miles we shouldn't have to shoulder the burden for... And once uprights are due for replacement, it will be a tidal wave in a bucket, big picture.... Just saying...

Ok Gents.....I think I am maybe convinced that the OEM CLs are a better value on re-sale for the general public.

Anyone have a set of narrow body CL OEM wheels taking up space in their garage as I am considering selling my GT3? Mike you were right I should not have sold the CL wheels.....I have everything else, but.

See: https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...wheel-set.html

If I do decide to sell the car there will be a "SAVYBOY" style garage sale of GT3.2 parts: Full Akro exhaust, StopTech STR brake set up, GMG links and sways, 2 sets of Forgeline 5 lug wheels, Cargraphic front lift......

Stay tuned or feel free to email or PM interest.

Of course, if you are a CANADIAN Rennlister, and are looking for a partly track prepped GT3.2 with a 5-lug conversion.....PM or email me ASAP to discuss.

Cheers!

This is a great idea Randy, I did think of it, but thought the logistics would be too difficult. One could trade wheels and wheel carriers with hubs and bearings installed to save the extra bearing and labor costs.

Do you think "Giesha" might like a full Akro evolution exhaust system for the street?

Im surprised a CDN has not made you an offer on your GT3.
The 5 lugs are awesome.

How much are you asking for it?

If you went with a good quality wheel, I would think it wouldn't matter. You see tons of high line used cars sold with after market HRE, etc etc... With the right sales person at the helm, one would think you could actually put your sale at a competitive advantage once you explain the safety and cost benefits of switching to 5 lug. Almost as if you were doing them a favor

I still can't believe there aren't people out there that would trade their 5 lug setups in a minute to get the CL's to show off at Starbucks on saturday mornings.

Why even keep the RS? Basically a track car with a license plate, even in stock form. Sell it and get something more fun for street duty. Used 997 cab or something along those lines. New vette looks good too.
