Unhappy Set for Sale

"One of the rare cases where a couple hundred bucks (incl. install) changes the perception of the car entirely. Highly recommended for track use. But not recommended for those that sees more street than track--it'll just make cabin noise intolerable."

Ok. I was concerned about that. I purchased a set 3 weeks ago and have not yet installed them. My car is mostly used on the street, and I now think the NVH will be too much for me.

So, the 75A mounts are still in their sealed bag and are in perfect condition. I paid $129. I'll sell for $109, and I'll pay shipping.

Let me know if you want them.

Thanks,
Matthew

Can someone comment on the increased NVH (if any) when used in a non-RS vehicle?

Thanks TRAKCAR

Vibration is noticeable and takes it another step further away from being a nice smooth street car. It's all very personal as to how much each of us is willing to tolerate in that area. I'd say if it's a daily driver that only goes to the track 4 w/e's a year don't do it.
The vibrations, squealing brakes, scraping cup lip, etc. don't bother me. Then again, I just don't drive on the street much.

Eddie,

I need a set of 75A bushings. Are you still offering a discount?

Mines a non-RS, find it totally tolerable even though I use my GT3 every single day to the shops, work, and the track. Just love the change to the car the mounts made but agree everyone is different.

I threw caution out and went for the 90 durometer transmission mounts. I also have RSS motor mounts, Numeric Racing shifter and "cup" cables loud exhaust and stock RS flywheel. Everyone's tolerance is different and mine is probably higher than most, but here's my rundown:

At track, helmet on, windows down - more vibration and noise noticeable at low speeds, but once underway it's all good.

On street, windows down - about the same as at the track, not too intrusive, but still an increase in NVH.

On street, windows up - freaking bonkers. Maybe it was partially the effect of driving home after a day at work and dealing with traffic; I didn't hate it, but I think most people would.

Think the green ones handle NVH better

I'm interested in the 75A ones for a .2 non-RS GT3.

Do you have to change the entire mount or just the inserts?

Just the inserts.. old rubber bushings were pressed out and the new ones pressed back into the aluminum carrier.
