PCA CLUB RACE AT CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS CONFIRMED FOR MAY 10-12, 2013
Here you go boys and girls, start packing.....
"Dear All,
I just spoke with Bruce Knox of Circuit of the Americas and we are confirmed for a May 10-12 Club Race.
Many thanks to all of you for your patience and hard work for getting this date.
Many thanks in advance for the hard work that you will put into making this the best amateur race that will take place at COTA this year.
I’ll need to get with Cota next week (or the week after) to finalize some details regarding things like camping and parking, but we are now officially on their calendar.
Please spread the news as you see fit!"

I am guessing sign up won't be for a while.
Dates are now blocked out on my calendar!

And only two weeks before the Glen race.
Average May daytime temp in Austin is 87 degrees according to weather.com and I know first hand how hot it can get October. Not to take anything away from all the effort to make this happen but I'd be a lot more interested in attending if this were a winter race (take any excuse to get out of New England in the winter).
I suspect this was all they could get this year - hopefully they reconsider dates going forward.

Not interested in COTA with their ****ty attitude and rules. Won't go there until their management attitude change. Tech form only from race shop and we are liable for damage if our car go off and hit a divider or scratch paved surface? Give me a break.
