Default Andreas Preuninger on the GT2RS

I'm been enjoying the recent GT2 threads. I did a quick RL search and don't think the following videos have been discussed on here?

These videos offer wonderful insight from Mr. Preuninger (Sorry if a re-post)

Lol...

"Back in the day" the 2RS was thoroughly discussed. Search is your friend.

Highly topical discussion in the above video begins here (though it's all good): https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...kzFJ01M#t=619s

BTW, this makes my GT2 feel so inferior.

Deleted the lol rant...much respect to everyone on this forum.
I couldn't find mention if it after a couple searches...(other than a short thread over @ 6speed.com)
Just wanted to make sure everyone had seen this series of videos (relatively few views given the content!), wonderful insight and detail from Mr. P.
Thanks,
Udo

oh those were the videos i took back in 2010

i asked them why they felt 620hp was the absolute maximum they could wring out of the motor, when so many other tuners routinely touted about the same-- if not greater numbers-- with far less work and resources than what Andreas P and his team had at their disposal.

unfortunately, i didn't get the answer on video.

not that it mattered, the reply was both predictable and reasonable, so no surprises there.

From a pricepoint perspective, The differences are Not worth 130-140k.
Make a few changes, suspension exhaust, makes a world of difference...

Since we're enjoying Eccentric weather this winter in the Great White North,
it may be time to unleash the beast.

Talking

Been looking at new car for myself and keep on coming back to GT2 maybe GT2 RS. Came across this nice interview from AP during Goodwood. "Special" pistons and conrods for RS! Come on AP. Good salesman
