I wouldn't be to concerned about RCR's longevity. I would bank he's here to stay. He has quite a versatile line up in what he manufactures. By what I've gathered Fran has a bit of a connection with GM as well. If you go back a couple years he did a concept car that went to the auto show for Cadillac, if my memory serves me correct.

The SLC package has really ony had a little over one year of track results and they have been quite impressive. It seems to be taking hold pretty well.

Saw this yesterday....

Shop owner (Porsche racing) said it is a well-designed kit, has been pretty reliable, very fast, but that finished product was significantly higher cost than the sum of its parts.

The few times I have talked with Fran I got him on the phone first try. Seems like he has his stuff together, and real enthusiast.

Default New SL-C race car hits road america

We gave Ted Harrison at Quick Racing Products a recipe to build us a new race only SL-C. And what a job they did. We specified:
Schwartz performance 670 HP LS7 tuned by Castillo Motorsports
Tilton 7-1/4 triple metallic clutch w/ hyd release bearing
custom Porsche G96-88 sequential gearbox by Brian Copans
Motec engine management and data acquisition by Veracity Racing Data
AP Brakes
Ohlins 4 way dampers by Alan O'Leary
Variable assist electric steering by QRP
External water pump
ARE dry sump system
Motec traction control
Motec power distribution module PDM 30
The real magic to this build is the knowledge and expertise that QRP incorporated into this car from developing the "Blue Mistress" SL-C that finished 2nd overall in the 25 hours of Thunderhill.
Thanks to all. This car is incredible

Congrats on a gorgeous and no doubt very well sorted car. The guys at QRP have proved themselves and have been fun to follow. For anyone local, go check out Fran's shop. It's a real treat.
Enjoy your car in the best health
