The wife and I have been kicking around the idea of renting a garage at MSR for the Winter. The only problem is the mechanic work that I usually like to do after running is much more fun in my garage on my lift... with my buddies and a beer.

There's a DE at TWS run by the track the weekend after y'all's event at COTA. These are fun events with low car counts, so you get lots of track time. If you've got an enclosed trailer, I'll bet you could arrange to park it at TWS for a reasonable fee and just hang around Texas for another week.

Mike right about e event and if you register for the PDS I'm pretty sure we can get your trailers stored for nothing that week.

Been watching video and TWS is my kind of track, sort of like me, old and crusty with character. It actually looks like more fun than COTA.

Haven driven both, I would say COTA is far nicer and very cool to be in a surface that's rand new and only really driven a few times before we get it. Nice straights and some good corners. the track was set up for formula one and it shows in the design with straights too long for second but not enough for third. However TWS with its banked high speed corners some real technical parts and a great front straight no matter what direction you run it in is super cool. So at the end of the weekend everyone will have there own experience.n given some money for track improvements I think TWS would be well served in a comparison for great tracks in the country.

Peter, TWS is IMHO the most under-rated road course in the US. Happy to get you fast quickly on Thursday if you'd like. Weather forecast looks to be superb!

Picked up Harry's lap timer. TWS should be a good chance to firm down the datalogging and video angles.
