Randy you said yours doesn't drone...what are you using now?
Drone serves him right. He pissed and moaned about his last exhaust droning so he changed and spent $$$$$ for more drone.

well, that's a different story that's why I have catless headers in my car. Even more power.
The power can be made on the exhaust system in addition to the headers.

I'm quite happy with the build quality, sound, and performance increase from the GMG headers and center section - also flashed the ECU with the GIAC software.

If you're in the SoCal area I'd recommend chatting the GMG guys up

Default GMG Oval RSR Exhaust

I went with the GMG Exhaust....the look and sound are awesome. My personal opinion is that the quality is second to none. This is my car at the shop. Not sure that I would do much more with the exhaust. I dream of a 4.0 conversion!

What's the real scoop on engine warranty if you change the headers and cats?...read below

Also if you create more exhaust flow with headers, 200 cel cats and free flow mufflers can the ECU with a stock map cope with these changes or is a ECU re-program needed?

*my dealers says change mufflers is OK but change headers/cats and Porsche voids engine warranty
* my dealer says change ECU program and power train warranty is voided
* my dealers says the warranty is with Porsche not the dealer and if there is a power train issue Porsche will ask for ECU files and car mods and usually sends a rep to view car.

I had a header crack at the cat on my 09 Carrera S and because I had Tubi side mufflers Porsche denied my claim. They sent regional rep out to see my car along with other in the shop.

I think the ole Dog has just accepted that there is drone with a race exhaust system. Doesn't matter now that he's fallen down the deep dark hole and gutted his car. Man those long trips towing the trailer will be brutal..... However Dog is turning some nice lap times and will probably get better. Dog should get the "GT3 DE Cup Most Improved Driver Award for 2012"

Next up is trading the Vulvo in for a Diesel truck and an enclised trailer. The banana yellow bird is written off.

I have an OEM Ti center section for sale if anyone wants it.

The GMG set up is nice

but the side mufflers will rattle apart from the heat if you track it a lot.....trust me most of us have ruined a set of side mufflers
