Dealer will tighten CL while it is on the ground and I saw this in two different dealers, when I said the car must be on air they didn't believe until I show them the document.

Don't trust them or any body but yourself when it comes to CL work.

^ i said this MANY times. the system itself is fine, if you follow rules. but we dont follow rules. witness the dealer. and walk aroudn the track nex time you are out. you be surprised with what you see. thus as a manufacturer, they need to make things that are idiot proof. if a five year old cannot get it rigth 100% of the time, it's too hard and **** will and has happened.

When you increase the torque 20% over original Specs something is going to fail

Default damage after recall

Its so great that is not enough that this intrusive recall exists, then the dealers factory certified GT-3 technician damages your car and then denies it.

this is way i always use wheel studs. even with 5 bolts i convert to LOOOOOOOOOONG STUDS. 105MM. my wheels clear the caliper first before falling off the studs.

sorry to see the scratches on caliper. that's very careless on their p art.

ironically in the 7.1 cars (with PCCB) they provided two "pegs" that you could screw into the hub to avoid hitting the PCCB's with the wheel when (un)mounting them ... with the 7.2's they also provided these same pegs, which are useless with CLs ...

the sliver lining (I hope) is that the dealer did not chip your PCCB rotors...

I hope you checked the edge of your rotors to ensure they were not chipped in the process!

Happened at Rector in burlingame . Dennis Dolen = should be terminated for he total lack of caring, told me customer service does not matter, go someone else, they would NOT replace them (only repair), insult after insult.....finally agreed to replace them. The technician could care less..he's a good friend of Jerry Woods. I would never expect this . Makes you wonder what happens to your car after you drive off. Oh finally both managers agreed that my car was just "another car"....nothing special ... Got it Rector. NEVER again will I ever step foot in that store.

rector another bad shop

yes ur car is just another car, one that Dennis Dolen will not likely to b able to afford. tell him that.

this type of attitude is not acceptable.

I will wipe my customer a** when asked to. service is service

I prefer stead motors and Fremont Porsche. both are far from me. stead is 50 miles out. but they know service.
