Remember 2 years ago when everyone predicted their values would go down like the 2008 GT2. Most people thought they'd be $160-170k in 2 years. Seems like that was wrong. Seems like they are holding up much better than expected.

never thought they would go down like gt2.i think it might go down to 160 in the future depending on mileage and condition obviously but should stabilize around there because of low producti

Hi trakcar,
I have driven the GT2RS on the track..and I dont do it - simply because afterwards you dont want your 4.0L anymore. OK, I have never driven the 4.0L..but compared to the 3.8RS the gap is HUGE..simpy because of the power drifference.
Nevertheless, keep your 4.0L..
PS: I never said either that GT2RS prices will loose as much as normal 997 Gt2 prices, in fact the normal GT2 prices just went down so much as suddenly so many people traded in their GT2.
GT2RS and 4.0L will be the best value holding 997s...probably the best holding 911 for some time. I cannot imagine that any 991 would be able to do that..unless they make 991 GT3RS with Mezger engine and 600 produced units...
