GT2 prices are irrationally low. They are the best bang for the buck in the GT lineup. 205 units total in the US, only 5 more than the RS (and probably a few that are no longer with us).

Think Porsche mistake was making TTS with same hp as GT2

That was, in essence, what killed GT2.

Too bad it doesn't sound like a 4.0 though

Perhaps.

The fact the Turbo S has the PDK and AWD really makes it appealing to a different customer though. And the PDK limits power mods to under 600 whp. I'd take a PDK equipped GT2 if they solved the power riddle. Faster is faster.

With a bolt on package from Champion (and others) my car went from 480whp to 675whp. Tack on the Champion warranty that covers everything they touch to the limit of the factory warranty, a GT2 is more than enough of a GT2 RS competitor at substantially less money.

hi Nick,

Couldnt agree more..the GT2 is probably the cheaperst second hand "supercar" now..it cab beat the GTr, sometimes the 458..more or less on same level as Mclaren, slightly below in stock version - OK - but all that for this "little" money. It will be interesting to see how prices will develop of it..

Yes Im sure..quite a few 997GT2s are not with us anymore..I would guess that out of the 1261 produced..for sure 100 are already "dead"..
