The real news in that issue, for me, is that Pete Stout ("excmag") is leaving...bummer.

Yes, and IMHO, Panamera needs lots of help, so it should be a good move. Just hope Excellence backfills with someone that can build on what they have.

Pano has decent classifieds and MAYBE one good article per issue
Pano needs stout badly - it was an excellent hire
I am hopeful that excellence does not suffer - it is the best of the best IMHO

I forget the name of the new editor but I believe he has an aviation background. I could be wrong though as this was just what I found online. Anyone know for sure?
As far as the article goes... I loved it. The part about him wanting to drive the rig was great.

Lorraine is great writer, I will forward these replies, I'm sure they will be much appreciated.
Attached is one of the shots I was hoping to have included in the article. Not my best photoshop attempt.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

How free are we really?
Look at all that we put up with (just find one of Rad's lists of what's wrong with these cars), but keep coming back. Must be some kind of group hypnosis, "not that there's anything wrong with that".

i meant we are free to say things like 6 3's are the best, the mk1 was the best and will never be bettered, centrelocks and pccbs are techno-crap, cayennes are fat pigs, and panameras are it's obese offspring...
we LOVE porsche as a brand, but as honest-to-god enthusiasts we know what's good and what's not, and we aren't afraid to voice our true opinions in these forums and such. panorama only ever has praise
for the porsche brand.
read jared cullop's and leh keen's test of the 7.2rs and boxter spyder a few issues back in excellence, and revel in such an honest report. panorama will never have articles like that.
