I enjoy them almost equally, both present almost entirely different challenges. The motorcycle aspect of Barber takes away from it slightly, but it really is a blast. I may be saying that because I really miss Barber after not having been there for a year. But it's close though. I'd say 8.0 RA to 7.8 Barber (10 would be SPA or Brands Hatch)

I really don't know the gearing of your car...but I do know that turbo cars make huge torque, and staying in 4th would use the torque you have in abundance., so it may actually be faster, since you wouldn't have to over-skow to downshift. Worth a try!

I now in the video I've posted of Spencer he does it in 3rd as well, and that's an even shorter gear ratio and the fact that he does let's him power to 92mph between 6 and 7. Maybe for a smooth lap, but faster?

I will give it a go during a non important session this weekend see what the data shows.
I would rather overslow T7 than T6 at Road Atlanta and for one simple reason. I want to be full throttle for as long as I can going down the back straight for over 2000ft coming out of T7 than to worry about being fast for 400ft between T6-T7.

For reference: How to Drive Fast at Road Atlanta

I sent you a PM about my thoughts on your gearing for T6. Check it when you get a chance.

Dude, Reeves did a ****e job on your RK install. That mic needs to be moved asap. Preferably under the ECU cover. Awful windnoise. Couldn't hurt to put a dead kitten or a sock over it either to mask the wind noise.

Grady was smoking out there. I watched his videos for 45 minutes in the trailer. Unfortunately I couldn't apply anything I learned but it was still fun to watch

Me blowing a perfect opportunity to capitalize on Randy's F-up through T7 and to add insult to injury pussed out going into 10a

I think this is my best lap of the weekend. Still poking around the data. Thought I had a 35.4 according to the dash but I can't find the data so it's a 35.5

Ron was super fast. Running at least 2-3 seconds a lap faster than me in Steve's car. Probably could have put a bigger gap had it been his own car and not a student's. I'm sure he leaves some on the table.

Thanks. Getting there. Wish I had brought a set of hoosiers just to see if I could have bested Randy's time

Dog...1:35 is killer....in a .1 GT3 Randy must be getting nervous.
