Default A long time coming...

As some of you may know, I've been working on something for close to 18 months now. Although Porsche produced what I happen to think is the greatest drivetrain Porsche ever made (4.0RS), I believe that they (Porsche) are lacking in the "aggressive-look" department. In fact, IMHO the last great "aggressive" looking Porsche was the 993 GT2. And, again IMHO, the "real" last conscience effort to make a 911 lightweight was the 993 RS Clubsport.

My goal is to make the 993RS Clubsport version of a 997GT3RS but just in case I ever want to go back to stock/original, I can and that's the reason I didn't go with the RSR look. Although the wing is true RSR.

As projects go, I don't know if I'll ever "finish it", but as for exterior, I believe I'm very close to complete, doors, hood and roof are still a maybe.

The bumpers, front fenders, the decklid, the piece ahead of the decklid and the intake are all made of carbon fibre. The front bumper and fenders are the same as the ones in the Cup S but custom made to fit the street lights. They are functional which means the wheel liners are also custom Kevlar Carbon.

We made all the pieces and as such made sure the fitment was superb.

The wheels are 19x10 and 19x13 with 265-30's and 345-30's respectively and they were also custom made by Strasse Forged Wheels.

Better pics to follow...

Cup S front bumper with 2012 integrated vent

Cup decklid with fan integration for streetcars and Cup intake with MAF integration for streetcars...oh yeah a little bling, carbon finer tow hook!

I preferred the Aussie version not the ROW lol!

The first photo looked awkward around the bottom of the front fender until you see the big vent in the following photos. Great project.

Saw the RS yesterday during a group GTG drive and lunch.
Very nice work. The RSR wing and adapted Cup air intake w/ MAF came out great.
Love the "hybrid" rear bumper. Works with .1RS tail lights but with .2RS vents style.
btw Marcelo, good time yesterday.

Thanks. And believe me I thought about it. By the way, I've never met Eddie, we produce our parts and in fact have produced parts for many others...nevertheless if I was to go crazy I would've gone full RSR, but I just couldn't get over cutting the rear fenders.

You use the same supplier as I do for my carbon fiber parts ...HE manufacture them in very good and outstanding quality.

Yes you buy from my good friend. He and I partnered up for this build and have produced, as you know some phenomenal, custom pieces. With superb quality and fitment.
